Another useless low life there a wasted life and taking up space that some who has a purpose in could use

Message bank stated no message from this caller. I have a private listed number. How do we stop these calls from coming through all hours of the day and night.

You may be on the DNC register, however the numbers are computer and rung in numerical order. I keep a register of number, time and date and then get Telstra to block the numbers. I also disconnect my phone for a few days and that slows things down with no call for about four days. I never answer and the only number leaving a message is a scam collection agency about PayPal debt.

Surely something can be done to block this charity organization from constantly phoning.

Only 1 ring and then hung up. Thank you for other reports. I won't die wondering if someone genuine was calling

Keeps on Calling Me it's Really Annoying.

Caller: Scammers

They are NOT A CHARITY! It is a fake number (spoofed)!
They are SCAMMERS, who called me in the past!
You can call the charities whom they are, supposedly, representing and they will confirm that it was not a call on they behalf.

i joined the do not call list but to no avail, then i joined the do not answer list and it works for me.

If it is a charity, as others said, that excludes them from the Do Not Call Register. I have found that if I request my number to be removed then I don't get calls anymore. It is better to call them and then request you are no longer contacted rather than hanging up on them otherwise they just keep on calling. That's what I learned from another thread like this.

Someone using this number has called me 29 times within 3 days. They've called lots over the past several weeks. Each time I pick up, there's silence then either a loud noise like a call centre but no voice speaking or they hang up. I've missed many calls already as they always call when I'm working or asleep.
It's starting to get annoying as I can't stop work to answer the calls.

Telstra has the option to block calls from landline, but Optus doesn't seem to.
