I am registered on the "DO NOT CALL" register.

I have received nightly calls from this phone number around dinner time. Before they speak I tell them I do not want anymore calls from them and take me off their call list. I receive no response.

I found who this phone number is registered to, It is Apple Marketing Group Pty Ltd.

Apple Marketing Group Pty Ltd is employed by registered charities to assist their fundraising efforts, this includes contacting donors both new and existing via telephone.

Calls from Australian Charities, or organisations calling on behalf of charities (such as Apple Marketing Group Pty Ltd) are not considered to be telemarketing calls, as outlined in the Do Not Call Register Act 2006.

Caller ID gave this number. Caller did not identify which "Charity" they were calling on behalf of. When I said we are on the Do Not Call Register the caller (laughing) informed me that Charities and the call centres they use are exempt from the Do Not Call Register ... WTF is the point of the DNC Register then?

No one answered me. Damned nuisance when we are on the DNC register.

Apple marketing, parasites skimming proceeds on behalf of charities. I have them diverted to a scammer answering service, they are free to chat to it as long as they like.

Apple Marketing contracted to collect for charities. Immune to Do Not Call register.
Block their phone number and get a caller tone on your mobile. Caller Tones trick the autodialler computer into thinking it reached a machine so hangs up.

We too are on the Do Not Call register AND our number is UNLISTED.
I bet the Telcos could already help us to block numbers on landlines given it's all digital now on the NBN. How hard can it be?! Maybe we need to pressure them.

I am so over being harassed by charities that I already support, asking for more money. The money they waste on employing these tactics and printed matter that is unsolicited, could be channeled directly to the said charity. Tempted to withdraw my support from the offenders.

They never leave a message they are wasting their time . And they are a nuisance to the general public out there!

Scam scam Scam they keep on calling and never say hello or ask about the scam they want us to register for... its an auto call system they suck and should be banned, locked out never be able to call anyone again!

Repeated calls late in afternoon. I don't pick up as I have a special ring for Scam callers plus my telco picked it up as Scam.
