Call center located in QLD seeking donations for the Kids Cancer Project. Finally a got a call from a charity where the caller was located in Australia and not India/Asia.
Appears to be genuine charity however I could not donate at this moment. Operator was polite and friendly.

Caller: hang up call

They just hung up when answered. Calling both home and mobile phones.

Hi, I just blocked this number today from my mobile as they have been annoying me for two weeks. I thought it was a recruitment company but decided to check on this site. However, if you don't want to receive marketing calls to your home number, you can register with Do Not Call Register. https://www.donotcall.gov.au/
I did this years ago for my mum who is elderly and was getting frustrated with all the calls she was receiving at home. Several government calls may still go through, but overall the annoying calls stopped. Good luck. Sylvia

everyday i have missed calls from this number , but yesterday i actually answered it and no one spoke then they hung up . as it is on file i just wont answer it .

Scammer. I said I’d get my mum and left him hanging

Caller: Epilepsy Foundation

A woman called thanking me for my previous donations. Which I have not ever done. I was asked to donate as much money as I could to the poor people who suffer from epilepsy. Maybe she would have more success if she said it was for research into eliminating epilepsy. Wouldn't take no for an answer, very pushy. Just a note, people with epilepsy aren't poor and are usually managing their condition very well.

This number calls my mobile almost every afternoon around 5.30pm

Said they were some heart foundation number when I called back but something was super phishy, blocked the number

They hang up every time I answer, going to block it. No point ringing and hanging up.. it's just annoying.

Just hung up after I said "Hello".

My phone auto rejected it as spam.

Caller: Some hospital

The guy said he was calling from some hospital. We didn’t get on tonwhubhe was calling but I assume fund raising. He was polite enough when I said I wasn’t interested. The number had called me every day for the last 4 days so I finally decided to answer it.
Given the other messages here, I wouldn’t trust it is legit or wouldn’t want to donate money via the phone to the organisation.

This is scam number preying on vulnerable people

Almost the same number as I had the other day but the last digit had been changed because I blocked the last number that called.Blocked this number too because I don't pick up any calls I don't recognise.

Called saying that they are "Apple Marketing"
