They have called me a number of times & I didn't answer because it was a Qld. number. Tonight I was curious who kept calling so I answered & they said they were calling for the Salvation Army trying to get money for the hungry & homeless.

I have received 4 calls from this number and my husband the same. I have now blocked this number from my mobile.

Keeps calling and I keep blocking. Reverse lookup Australia says its apple marketing fund raising. My blocked list is almost as long as my contact list🤪

I didn't know this number so I Googled it only to find out it was another scammer I didn't answer the call I leave my answering machine on I only answer calls I recognize, this is terrible these calls could cause you to miss a urgent call from a family member needing help in an emergency why cant these low life people get a life & do something constructive in there country & stop bothering other people they know we won't answer there nuisance calls. Telstra won't do anything because they earn big money from them, they are from that country.

I had my phone on silent both times this number called me. I didn’t bother to call them back. Now I’m glad I didn’t.

For everyone who keeps saying that the Do Not Call Register is a joke or doesn’t work, it’s a free service and since offering their services to the whole of Australia, now find themselves backed up. So, please be patient.


Blocking the number on your phone is easier.

Asked me to support cervical cancer with raffle tickets that cost $2.50 each
I told her I dont have time or money, which she kept pusing again about cervical cancer.
I hung up ad blocked the number, they call at least once a week.

Same for myself in Perth - not a listed number. Blocked immediately.

Luckily I was too late to get to my phone - googled the number and found it a scam. Have been getting quite a few similar ones from 03 numbers. This is my first QLD one. However do they get our mobile numbers???

(07) 5657 9008 (queensland) calls me in Perth every few days, never leaves a message. Have asked Telstra to block but have to provide them with exact detail of every call - ??? that's their service??? Yuk

Left 2 annoying messages on my message bank, some woman saying " hello.. hello... hello.. " for 30 seconds. It's message bank you idiot so leave a bloody message or hang up!!

I asked Telstra to block all calls coming to my number either directly or indirectly from india and the phillipines except for Telstra call centres and they said No
we have to cop it

They never leave a message, but persist in calling several times a day and often in quick succession. Has been happening for at least 12 months now - taking a blitz approach for several weeks then a break and start again. A PAIN IN THE ARSE!!!

They are using the #s (07) 5657 9008 and ...009,...011 & ...012
