Caller: (07) 5456 9006

Persistent caller, so far 3 times today and it's not even 10am! Never leave messages. Unfortunately if they are a "charity" they are exempt from the DO NOT CALL register of which I am on (but don't forget to re-register too folks as it is not indefinite!) I have now blocked this caller but no doubt they'll start up on a new number, they always do.

Keeps calling day & night, don't answer them

Nuisance telemarketing cold callers. Have no idea what they are selling. They also use similar numbers.

Caller: Said they were Apple Marketing on behalf of cancer charity.

We are on the Do Not Call Register but doesn't make any difference, they just ignore it.
Should be penalised for doing so. Otherwise what use is the register?

Keeps calling, no one there then hangs up.

Call was picked up by our answering machine, but no message was left for us.
It seems that a lot of these calls are generated by electronic diallers that are programmed to cut off the calls that are not answered by humans.

I think this and (07) 5657 9008 are probably the same company - have called on two separate occasions - from Southport Qld but no msg left!

I understand charities have to use these marketing companies, but I prefer to choose my charities rather than responding to tear-jerking stories.

This 'holier than thou' wanker called and became very uppity when I said I do not donate via credit card over the phone, trying to make me feel bad. Good luck with that!!

Apple Marketing on behalf of childhood cancer. Sorry, I don't donate money to waste in "medical research".

I called back number (07) 5657 9006 spoke to a woman who said company name is Charity Fundraising Specialist.

Call Fri night 7.15pm, introduced sef as Sam from Apple Marketing, knew who I was then hung up on me. Do not trust.
