Dear people

Scam Alert

Dial Care PC IS A SCAM! They are heartless and prey on people who are not very confident with computers, most commonly older people.
All PCs have an error log, as Windows has glitches occasionally and keeps a record.
NEVER ACCEPT A CALL FROM SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW. If you haven't rung someone about your computer, and you suddenly receive a call...take their details and call someone you trust who knows computers and ask them.
The other comments above who say that Dial Care PC is good probably work or are paid by that company to troll sites like this and try and give credence to a scamming company.

I also got so many calls like this in regards to my computer has virus. I never paid anything. All companies use to tell me that at first make the payment then they will rectify errors on my computer. similarly I also got call from DIAL Care PC, I told them I got problem in my email outlook and can not play dvd on my computer. If you guys can correct it then I can pay you and can trust you guys. They agreed on that and connected me to Senior Technician Vincent Smith. I spoke with Vincent Smith who got strong Indian accent. He took around 3 -4 hours and corrected my computer. I appreciate Vincent smith and Dial Care PC for service they provided.I made payment also to them. I am happy and whenever I call them, they connect me with Vincent Smith. This was my experience but can not say about others experience. I am happy. If you have really problem in your computer or email then I will suggest to call Vincent Smith.

Perth

I recieved a call from these guys, and even called them back
I Spoke with a Maria at first said that i could take all her details down, which i did...then she passed me on to a supervisor named jenifer
She claimed to be from a company working with microsoft yet had no idea what OS i had
After showing me the logs...which i looked at and didnt buy at all...
She said she would require remote access to my computer which i told her i am not ok with...she then said "i would see exactly what she was doing" from my computer, but i told her i didnt care i was not going to let someone I did not know have access to my computer, I said that if she wanted to send someone around I would be quite happy to sit with them at my computer, which she agreed too.
I got more suspicisous so i called back the number I was given to speak to someone whom told me that there was no way a technician could come out as they dont offer that service and attempted to offer me that if I wanted he could access remotely...which i told him to shove it :)

If you recieve a call from this number, don't answer it. They are a SCAMMING company saying they are Microsoft technicians who have detected a virus in your computer. It was an Indian man going by the name of Brandon Win (unlikely). He convinced me that there was something wrong with my computer and tried to prove this by making me open the run box, event log, and all these errors and warnings were there. They said not to click them or your comp will shut down even though these errors are recorded maybe when you typed your password wrong etc. They will then say they will fix it by making you go onto www.ammyy.com, www.logmein123.com or teamviewer. Now if they get you on logmein, remember the 6 digit code and complain to logmein that their software is being used for scammers. They are very unprofessional and talk very anxiously. Most people would rarely fall for it but i did even though i was aware of such things exsisting. They are very stealth. Hang up on them, swear if you must. Microsoft has released a statement that they do NOT call up customers coz that's not what they do. Anything who says otherwise cannot be trusted. If you did end up paying, go to the bank and cancel the transaction immediately, change passwords etc. You will be fine with just a regular anti-virus, anti-malware or firewall applications which can be d/l for free. They usually do not leave anything suspicious on your computer but just in case, scan with anti-softwares. Good luck =)Don't trust names like Vincent Smith, Jack Dawson, Robert Blue and Brandon Win. All bastards
