Definite scam. Said there department was investigating myself and my family and had tried to be in contact with me

yes-scam robo caller message , funnily enough with an American accent, threatening law suit and leaves a nine-digit phone number to call back. Americans are now trying to scam and sue Aussies??!! Or just another "Fake News"

yeah obvious thief. Reckoned they had tried to contact me earlier and then bluffed with threat of lawsuit. But the accent was US and the number was not Oz.

Caller: Automated Message left on voicemail

References to family being investigated, and tax fraud.

Got a call from this number to say that i was being investigated for tax fraud due to a delayed tax payment. Complete scam - do not answer!

I called back number (07) 5641 1606 rang once then gets disconnected automaticlaly.
