They left me a voicemail, it was a robot saying the moment I get this to call back and if I don't they have a warrant for my arrest....

Called and said that I had tax fraud. If I did not call them back then they would arrest me. Clear SCAM. Don't call back.

scammers saying they are "Officers" Came up with a Southport number (Obviously they are routed via VoIP or the like) Indian voice and I could even hear the coach telling him what to say...lol

Tried to give his own number and everything as john Peterson ato officer. Asked for bank or credit card details. Said $958 dollar refund (apparently specific makes it more convincing). started speaking Hindi or Tamil towards the end of the call

Called saying he was from the ATO said I have a tax refund owing to me and if I could please update my credit card details so they can refund it... I knew it was a scam anyway.
I asked him if he could confirm what I already had and he hung up..

I called the number back and said you're pretty F***ing stupid if you think you can scam people, he was like uhh umm err and hung up... typical

Indian accent, but an English name? Instantly suspicious. Said I was entitled to a tax refund of $941 from the ATO. It's a SCAM. They want your credit card number. Do not give them any of your bank details.
Don't be fooled by the Australian area code phone number (07) 5641 0370. They're calling from overseas on a VOIP phone, disguising the call so you think it's a genuine, Australian company.

was asking for person with my name, but was badly mis-pronouncing it. he hung up when I said he might have the wrong number.

Tax scam. They asked for my credit card.

A male was speaking and said he was from the ATO, and that because they made an error, I was entitled to a $900 refund for 2017.

I made zero dollars and had zero expenses in 2017 as I was travelling, so I immediately knew it was a scam.

Claimed an ATO lawsuit against me. Challenged me to reveal details or else I'll get arrested. I asked him to send police over :)
