I called the Surf Life Saving Foundation on this number 1800 642 925. It's their lottery section apparently. I asked to be taken off their call list. The operator was really good about it and said she'd let them know. Hopefully she meant it :)

I just had a missed call from this number. My number is on the do not call register. I always tell these people that I don't give donations or buy tickets over the phone & hang up. Don't give them a chance to strong arm me.

I got "missed call" message on my mobile, and a minute later, incoming on my landline. I have number display and answering machine, so I screen all calls. Long ago I got sick of answering pests. I have got SLS tickets by mail for 20 years, but if they keep this up I will cancel and tell them why.

I bought a Qld Surf Life Saving ticket in the Post Office Square (In Brisbane) from a woman with a North American accent who was employing strong arm tactics (I was going to buy any way otherwise I wouldn't have stopped). She claimed they don't sell $5 tickets (which I buy all the time) I put an email address, mobile phone and PO Box for my contact details and within days I started getting heavily spammed on that email address.

I received a phone call from this number two days ago and it was a woman (with a north American accent) again using strong arm tactics to get my credit card details to put through to pay for another Qld Surf Life Saving Art Union ticket.

Co-incidently, about ten days after I bought the coupon, I received that "Some-one has hired me to kill you" text message that thousands randomly received. The only time I have handed the mobile number out in recent times was to purchase the art union ticket.

I've just re-updated my details on the Federal Government's "Do Not Call" register at https://www.donotcall.gov.au/

If it is Surf Lifesaving and their fund raisers are so rude that they don't give you time to answer, they are doing a worthy cause a grave damage. I have had 5 calls from this number and I am less than impressed.

It IS Surf Lifesaving Australia. They're trying to sell raffle tickets for a home. Once you've bought a ticket they'll keep calling every time they have a new raffle OR to see if you want to buy more before the draw closes. If you do answer you should be able to get them to take you off their calling list. You should store the number in your phone so you're prepared next time :)

(07) 5635 4628 This number has called me twice a week for the last 3-4 weeks. I have miss these calls due to my work but i can never get them to answer. This is harrasment

Mussed call twice rang back no answer. Dodgy dodgy dodgy

No idea who this guy is. I get calls from him/her/whatever almost twice a week. They called me at school once and I've just hung up. My advice is just hang up or let it go to voicemail.

Got a missed call too. When I call back there is no answer!
