had the same thing, cancelled the rubbish service from austar/foxtel and now bombarded with people hassling trying to sell. just as a side note . ive noticed some on here registered with the do not call register, quite frankly , dont bother, they are hopeless, and do nothing even when you make complaints aout recurring scammers calling, big waste of taxpayers money,

I keep getting calls and I have even written an email to Robert who works for Austar - we cancelled last month. Roberts email address is ask_robina @ austar.com.au maybe if enough people flood their email address they might get the message and go away. Even if they offered 12 months free viewing I would never go back to them.

Lots of calls, even if you say to want get of the list. They are very rude on the phone!!!!!! Cant the goverment not stop sh*t like that ??? I think they changing numbers all the time. When everyday people would do things like that you end up with huge fine and get charge for harrasment. This companies do whatever they want and get away with it. !!!!!!

I cancelled my Austar about five years ago and these people still try and call me (hound me) about signing up again!!

My 10 year dsughter got this phonecall, and since she is 10, has never had an austar/foxtel service. I'm in ACT, and they called at 8pm :(

Just want to say. i would like to officially complain too. have told them time and time agsin wr live in a rental where body corporte forbid satalites. ausstar. foxtel etc.

Same as above had austar years ago, cancelled but continue getting calls every couple of months trying to sign me up. I tell them to stop calling, as if I want austar or foxtel Again i do know how to find their number and make contact myself. No luck as the bastards keep calling I just ignore there number now or pass the phone to my 2yr old she keeps them talking for hours!!!

We cancelled Austar 3 days ago and they have been ringing both my phones all day until 6:30 at night. This is driving me crazy and should be illegal have already had 6 calls today and its not even 3pm yet!

Just googled the number due to just recieveing a call. Very bizarre. The man said my name and that he was from Foxtel. A very Aussie yobbo accent. Kept saying it was a recorded call. He said I had cancelled Foxtel at my adress and what did I like about it when it was on. I said it wasn't cancelled. I said what address? He said it doesn't matter anyway and hung up. Weird.

It's Austar/Foxtel trying to get you to reconsider cancelling your service by giving you a cheaper service for 6 months....

I Had A missed call from this number, i returned the call to find it was foxtell lol. i dont even live in a foxtell area.

Same as all other comments. We are in Sydney and getting calls on our work mobile phone at 5.30am and 5.40pm from this number. Luckily the phone is not switched on but they don't leave a message. Tried to call them today to tell them to stop calling but it's impossible to speak to anyone, just keep going around in a loop. No idea how they got our mobile number.
