They called to say I had agreed to advertise in their magazine. I had never spoke or agreed to this. They mentioned it was mental awareness or something similar

Claim they were from Bushfire Response Magazine and that we had agreed to advertising a few months back. Never did any such thing after being conned by Countyrwide Australia in Melbourne who does similar stuff for orgs like AiPol, Ambos etc. The call centre makes it sound like the organisations are contacting you and that the advertising is "local" which it definitely isn't.

Same as Craig, they tried to convince me that I had agreed to advertise in their publication 6 months ago and they now needed to take payment for it!

Caller: Helen Scam. As per all the comments above. I've been told she's from National business association, then National Emergency response (My company works with them so it's certainly a scam) and we need to pay an invoice for advertising we agreed to 6 months prior of $5,000. Needless to say, I've been documenting multiple numbers Helen calls my offices on not realising she's speaking to the same person every time. The last call she was very rude telling me I needed to pay for the magazine/journal as they've already gone to print. Have reported to scamwatch ref #579040 if anyone would like to do the same. They call me on average 4 times a week.

Exact same thing here. Wants owners details and when I told her I would call back to confirm who they are she doesn't answer or rejects the call

Scam. They continuously ask me for the business owner's details. When I tell them it's me (it's not) they hang up

Same as Craig of May 9, 2016. Called today to say advertising had been authorised with "Mental Health Awareness" - told person that no such agreement had been made.
