Wanting to offer discounts on electricity. Telemarketer was a bit annoyed when I asked a lot of questions as to how they got my number, why they are calling, what commissions they get from the energy providers etc.

When you ring this number back it says it’s disconnected so it’s very dodgy

Cannot call back— says phone not connected

2018-03-26 5.52pm QLD, Australia time. Just got rung on my mobile phone - i said 'hello' and a lady said 'hello' and i said 'hello' again and immediately the lady hung up. Background noise sounded like a call centre.
Could be a scam? Don't know. My suggestion: don't answer this phone number.
