Caller: No phone call. An email was sent

Apex Advertising sent an invoice for $460 for a half-page advertisement in Youth And Community News magazine. It was addressed to our Principal who did not place the advertisement - in fact, she was overseas on the date listed on the invoice!. We have never heard of this magazine and our school is not in QLD. A call to the number went through to a voicemail for a private number. A check of the ABN on ABN lookup listed Apex Advertising and several other companies all managed by the same person. Needless to say, we are not paying the invoice

Our company also received an invoice for $460 for Apex Advertising saying we advertised in Youth and Community News which we did not. The number on the invoice went to voice mail saying it's a private number

Apex Advertising sent an invoice for $460 for a half-page advertisement in Youth And Community News magazine. We don't know this company, never heard of this magazine and our school is in another state. This is a scam.

Caller: Received an email with Invoice to pay $460

Our church received an invoice to pay the account of $460 for an advert we have never asked for and never used before. Even had our Pastor's name on the Invoice.

Glad I did a check to find that it is a total SCAM!

Received the invoice for payment of $460.00 to our office email. Bank informed us that this seems suspicious. I call the number and no one was attending.
