I have a $440.00 transaction in my bank as Apex Advertising!! No idea where they have gotten my bank details from the number (07) 5539 9453 on the transaction

I also received an emailed invoice for advertising stating it was already paid, but I did not authorise any transaction. I have never had any contact with them and don't know where my payment details were accessed from (I suspect from an earlier advertising scam).

Yes received this also, sent to a school in Feb 2020. Never heard of them, have never advertised in it. Don't pay it! ! !

Our Primary School received an invoice yesterday from this company. We nearly paid the invoice as we have advertised through Apex before but realised that this was not the usual company letter head that we receive. Phoned the number on the invoice to only get a voicemail. SCAM.

I received an invoice from Apex for like $895 for advertising. ahhhh who spends that much on advertising? When you have public free outlets for adverts lolz Total scam!

Just received an invoice for $460 to the admin@ email address at my work- as we are a business that does a wide range of advertising, the receptionist went to pay this invoice- except we didn't do any advertising with them. Thanks to this page- we investigated more and didnt pay the invoice.

We are in Adelaide and the bill of $460 was addressed to me and my workplace. We almost paid it as the Finance manager thought it would be something I might do, however, when we spoke he suggested it may be a scam! Pretty disgusted!

Received invoice addressed to the Principal for Half Page Advertising. Youth Community News. Never advertised with them, this is a scam. We are in Victoria, would not advertise in QLD. ABN seems legit when searching. Person has lots of other advertising names registered to the ABN, not registered for gst.

We also received this invoice for $460 from Apex Advertising Westpac 034660 416832 for half page advertisement in Youth and Community News

Appalling and lucky my finance officer is on top of it as it could easily slip through as they do their research and put the Principals name on it to make it look legitimate

Our school also received an invoice addressed to our Principal from "Youth and Community news" with the same contact number - we are in WA and Apex advertising is QLD based. Scam!

Caller: No phone call. An email was sent

Apex Advertising sent an invoice for $460 for a half-page advertisement in Youth And Community News magazine. It was addressed to our Principal who did not place the advertisement - in fact, she was overseas on the date listed on the invoice!. We have never heard of this magazine and our school is not in QLD. A call to the number went through to a voicemail for a private number. A check of the ABN on ABN lookup listed Apex Advertising and several other companies all managed by the same person. Needless to say, we are not paying the invoice

Our company also received an invoice for $460 for Apex Advertising saying we advertised in Youth and Community News which we did not. The number on the invoice went to voice mail saying it's a private number
