Get yourselves onto their internal DNC.
They get given your number, because someone else owned that number, or they've screened it to detect if it's on the national DNCR.

The address and company name is posted at the top, most depressing week of my life, paid my rent at least.
Answer the call, stop them right away, ask to speak to the supervisor on duty nicely, once you get the boss, tell him you are requesting him to take your number out of your database, that you know the company, quote the company name, address, everything. And if they keep calling you will be seeking legal action, He will sh*t himself and immediately take your number out of their internal system, problem solved! The reason most of these people don't care is because they think they are safe, you don't know them, their business name or anything, once that cover is blown they have no choice but to comply, the risks are too great.

Guys,
I've been battling the spam from real Insurance myself. After lodging complaints and tossing my toys I've tracked down the person responsible for the spam. Allow me to introduce:

Sounds like Real Insurance is new to the telemarketing game. They usually depend on TV advertising. I think they are trying to run this system themselves instead of using an experienced and organised agency. These days many calls are initiated by a computer with some of them using a voice recording asking you to hold for a moment while a real person is found to talk to you. Real Insurance seems to be having teething problems by not having enough reps. to take all the calls that the computer has setup for them. Being a one-way call via a computer the line does not respond to incoming calls from the public. If you want to give them 'a piece of your mind' find their number in the phone directory or search online and ask for their marketing or call centre manager's direct phone number, write it down and then ask to be put through. If you get too many calls from telemarketers and dodgy charities, get yourself a silent phone number, one that won't appear in the phone directory. Also, get your phone number listed as a Don't Call Me number. Good Luck.

This number has called me several times a day for the last few weeks. I never answere. It is starting to drive me crazy that these companies think it is ok to call you. It's invasive and why do they think it is ok to call during business hours!! If i wanted insurance i would get it myself!!

Number calls and when answered it hangs up straight away, when trying to ring back it states "the number you have called is disconnected, please check the number before calling again".
