App Nation/Apps R Us have no evidence that anyone is actually seeing your app or your advertising on an app. They look legit on the surface because they have a shonky looking web application with dodgy ads for your business in there, but they can't prove that anyone is seeing your ads. They tell you your agent is distributing the app among their clients... we are not. We have asked to be removed from this service, they are using loop holes and excuses to continue using our brand name and reputation to trick local businesses into advertising. They also continue to take money from your credit card every 12 months calling it a subscription. Don't ever buy advertising from someone selling over the phone. That's now how media organisations sell ads. I'm sure they're offshore also as they don't regulate in the same business hours as we do in Australia. They get in touch right at the end of the business day. MASSIVE SCAM!

Love how all the positive quotes on here are from Burleigh Heads... the same place that App Nation is based.

signing up today. Have been told that I will have an app (online business card) and be the first point of contact for a local real estate company for our earthmoving business. I have also been told I will receive two return tickets to my place of choice which will be Bali. I have only paid half so far, the outstanding balance being paid today. I looked up the reviews and freaked out sending an email to cancel and put a stop on my credit card. After further discussions with Appnation I have decided to give them a go but will be keeping you updated as the reviews have made me feel uncertain. fingers crossed.

App Nation Scammers Not nice people at all

HOW IS APP NATION A SCAM I HAVE SIGNED UP A MONTH AGO AND HAVE RECEIVED MY APP AND HAVE BEEN PUT ON THE LOCAL REAL ESTATE APP, I CALLED THE REAL ESTATE APP AND THEY SAID " IT IS ALL LEGIT" AFTER READING ALL THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS I AM DESPERATE TO FIND WHAT THE SCAM IS?! NOTHING SEEMS WRONG AT THE MOMENT, I AM WORRIED SOMETHING BAD WILL HAPPEN TO MY BUSINESS, I HAVE SPOKEN TO THE STAFF AT APP NATION AND THE ENSURED THAT IT IS ALL SLANDER FROM A EX EMPLOYEE I AM STILL VERY WORRIED ABOUT THE SITUATION AND WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE PEOPLES STORY'S AND EXPERIENCES THANK YOU

I've had my real estate mobile app with these guys for 6 months and it's been really useful. Can't understand all the bad reviews.

App Nation is not a scam! i have been on the local real estate app for 3 months now, and think it's despicable there is so much slander on this website.

Not true! I have just been approached by app nation to join a local real estate app, after doing some research i found a lot of negative comments on the internet. I called back app nation and discussed this matter with them, they explained to me that there is an ex employee posting these comments online! I am happy to go ahead and will keep you posted.

I was contacted by these Scammers who miss represented themselves as a local Real Estate Agent. Unfort. we have used the agent before and know of their great reputation so that's where we came unstuck.

Just some info for anyone out there going through this:

*if you have given them your cc details contact your bank and place a dispute

*Legally you can change your mind and cancel the contract for any reason without penalty within 10 business days. Your rights to cancel Or cool off are supposed to be disclosed on the phone and in writing.

Why are these people are still in business, they rip business after business off. Contacting ACCC and Fair Trading will stop these bastard from ripping any more of us off... People put your complaints in to those organisations. Stand together to stop them from scammer us.

Having previously been involved with app nation I definitely would not recommend this company you have to wonder why so many name changes since 2011 what are the hiding ?
