I recently was called by App Nation asking if I wanted to advertise on my local real estate agent's app that they were building. They took my money before I had even signed any contracts. They also said they would build an app for me, when I started asking them who was going to see my app and how were people going to get it, they were really vague about saying they would be texting it out to people in my local area. I asked if they could send me traffic reports so I can see how many people will be using my app and viewing it and they hung up. They then called me back and asked me if I wanted to advertise on a different real estate agent's app from my local area. They're just taking money for ads that I don't think anyone is ever going to see. I've asked for my money back. Still waiting. Not hopeful. Next stop, a call to my bank.

I have just had a real estate app done with App Nation they delivered everything they said they would. Awesome service would recommend them to anyone.

I was contacted by app nation recently who sneakily misrepresented themselves and tricked me into thinking they were from our local real estate agency.

Their tac tics are unethical and illegal. They break every ACCC rule in the book.

They got caught out in a flat our lie which was confirmed by the Real Estate Agency - if the deal was kosher why cheat and lie?

They are using very honest and highly regarded real estate companies that people know and trust to hide behind.

Know your rights when you are contacted by a telemarketer even if you do agree Or sign up you are legally entitled to a 10 day cancellation period / cooling off period. This is supposed to be disclosed to you over the phone and in writing however, App Nation does not disclose your rights to you.

By law they are also not allowed to charge you anything until after your 10 day cooling off period.

Long storey short, be aware of your rights. If you are not happy cancel in writing, then call your bank immediately.

This phone number is Promo Direct, who was Advertising R Us / Diamond Digital Print. Kristine Holley is now Kristine Holley Woods works with Dean King who was banned by the ACCC and has a business called Promo Direct, watch out for them Kristine Holley is scamming the (the so called) free airline tickets again..they have no travel licence and will charge you an arm and leg to travel anywhere. There airline tickets are not free they are added into your accommodation. Watch out for Promo Direct people they are the same as Advertising R Us, scammers as they are being operated by the same person Kristine Holley.

Telco100 are a SCAM, don't fall for their Scam, the Apps are rubbish I worked for them, so I'm telling people first hand.....SCAMMERS... stay clear of Telco100 that's their new name...from App R Us, App Nation.

Check the ABN number on ASIC and you find it's the same people Trust, if you were with App Nation you will not get your money back as they went into liquidation, be aware of Telec 100 at Burleigh Heads.

Check to ABN's and the names and you will find that it's the same people different business name... you have been scammed sorry to say, contact the ACCC as there is a form you can fill out via the net to report them, if you were with App Nation you can not get your money back as they were closed down by ASIC as they went into liquidation. Let businesses know that it's the same scam and people..

Hi there, just wondering if you have had any luck contacting the people from App nation or with the ACCC? I just called Telco 100 and asked for a few names i've seen on this forum but the lady said there's noone there by those names and she hadn't heard of App nation.
Very strange. i've been scammed as well and want to get my money back!!!

Very interesting read - I did not come across this before signing up with Telco100 and am shocked to read what I am reading - especially as there are distinct similarities to this other company 'AppNation'. I have contacted Jenny from Raine and Horne and confirmed that 'AppNation' delivered on the App but did not deliver on the distribution of the App. I will certainly be watching closely and expect 'Telco100' to deliver on the promise of the App which I have been sold with the promise to show all realestate listings for the business and advertise trade companies who sign up for advertising on this app. Telco100 has offered this App as a free app for our agency and also provided free advertising for my property maintenance business Budget Guys on the app they build for our agency.
