I just phoned the Head Office number (07) 5512 8888 and they were great. And yes, they do get your number from someone that you know. They have removed our numbers and the phone calls have stopped.

Please stop bugging me with your instant hang up calls!

To all those who keep their mobile number closely guarded, I have worked out where they got my number from. They have been ringing me too and they said some friends of mine gave them my number. These people are not friends, they are customers. I told them so and they took my number off the database. Let's see if it works. Now to get stuck into these customers about giving my mobile number out to companies. ARGH!

Yes this is THE VERY ANNOYING Wyndham time share who keeps calling... Approximately 2 years ago my BF and I were in the Gold Coast at one of the theme parks and there was a free lunch on offer if we went along to a free seminar about Wyndham time share. We thought "what the hay"... Wyndham went through the whole speil with us and we said we weren't interested and got our free lunch.A few months later they called and I told them, still not interested! Then a few months after they called and I told them to take me off their listing!To this day, they still call everyday without fail. Its quite funny as it always goes to my voicemail but they never leave a message. They way I figure is they can call me for the rest of time as I keep ignoring their calls and everytime it goes to voicemail, they get charged.So hopefully one day their phone bill would be astronomical and they go BUST!!!

I tried ignoring, then rejecting, then hitting the answer button and just leaving my mobile on the desk to waste their time and they STILL persisted in calling. So I finally answered them, asked them to remove my name from their database, was told this would be done "with alacrity" and have not had a call from them in almost 2 weeks since.

I keep getting the same phone calls from this (07) 5512 8049 number as well.... 1 or 2 times a day for the past week. I've just called them back 5 minutes ago. It is  Wyndham Vacations Resorts calling because a friend gave them my number months ago. They already called me a few months back and i told them I already had shares in a time share before and to remove me from the list. I was told this time that they call back a couple months later to check if you can make another seminar. WHen I said told them that I was supposed to be removed from the list last time, the lady quickly apologised and said she'd make sure that that would happen this time. I too have just started receiving multiple calls a day from this QLD number - (07) 5512 8049. One of my so-called good friends must have given out my number to Wyndham as a potential client - Not Happy Jan!! Friends should ask first before giving out our numbers!I haven't answered their calls at all, and I was getting sick of seeing this number appear on my phone and no messages ever left. So I though I'll enter the number into Google Search and see what comes up, well, this was the first site I found and was hoping to find some answers, and I have. Thank you!!Fortunately for me I'll be handing my phone and the phone number back to my work in the next couple of weeks as I'm leaving there shortly, which means they can deal with their daily calls!! get two calls a day from this no. they wont leave a msg - calls are like clock work one in the morning one in the afternoon. been happening for 3 weeks. could be an auto dialer. I never answer it. they need to get a life!
