I received a scam hoax phone call from dodgy Credit Corp (07) 5512 2467 on my unlisted phone number and they did not leave a message and when you ring the number back they will not disclose their organisations name so I blocked the number. The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) produces a Debt collection guideline for collectors & creditors https://www.accc.gov.au/publications/debt-collection-guideline-for-coll… Unnecessary or unduly frequent contacts may amount to undue harassment of a debtor. The ACCC recommends that you do not contact a debtor more than three times per week, or 10 times per month at most.

called and asked about a previous employee said they were trying to contact him but would not disclose what for. Very vague and wouldnt answer questions on company name or details, gave an 02 number for a call back so unsure if a scam. When I called back numbers said they were closed

I got a call from them and it stated Southport too. Asked about someone i knew so must be debt collectors

As soon as I picked up they disconnected

I called back the number (07) 5512 2467 and reached vm that did not mention the company name
