Hi. Please don't blame the people making the calls. Ask them to remove you from their data base. They should- but, if they called and you didn't answer, then you will also be on a call back lists. Removing you from their data base, wont remove from the call back lists. I discovered this when I got a call from one charity. They checked, I'd already been removed but this was a list of numbers to call because they hadn't answered or been engaged. The woman apologised and I haven't heard from them since. Charities NEED our help, they can be very annoying but if you pick a couple and just ask the rest to remove you- they usually do. Allow maybe one more call but point out to them then that you should be removed, ask them to check - if it persists ask for a supervisor. I don't have kids, I don't live in the outback, therefore I'd never need nor use this service but I do buy their carebears because it's important - it's an important part of being Aussie- helping those who need help- sick kids - sick people not near hospitals. Please, allow them the time to get you off their call lists and ask any charity to remove you. They buy or get these numbers through buying tickets in car raffles (kids with cancer) and other means. They need to get money desperately to help sick kids who would probably die - if it weren't for the pilots of these

All very well, plenty of charities need help but MUST THEY USE THE TELEPHONE? Now this careflight mob show up and knock at my door as well. I don't care what charity it is. I demand my right to privacy and a peaceful life where I can relax and get on with life without people ringing the doorbell asking for money. To hell with them.

Caller: Care flight I help many charities eg cancer research children’s hospitals MS etc but these people refuse to stop calling every. Damn. Day for the last 2 weeks. I never seem to get the call on time so I can’t block it. I’m all for their cause but I like to donate to my chosen charities and not have this rude woman abuse me for saying sorry I can’t donate atm. Limited funds and can’t help anyone further than we already are through our business. Doesn’t end even when politely ask them to take me off the list.

There is a valid reason there is a "Hang up" when the systems dials your number due to the robot calling system. If and when you answer, only if an operator is available, you will get to talk to one. If all operators on duty are already on calls with no one spare, then you get the hang up! There needs to be a different way to deal with that on the part of the person (now probably living the Bahamas) that made money selling the robot calling system.

Also being frequently pestered by their calling robot - twice a day this week. Yes, they are a worthwhile charity and I'd happily make a tax-deductible donation to them, but I'm fed up with these professional charity fundraising companies pestering us, wanting to flog raffle tickets or useless toy bears and probably giving their charity clients such as Careflight only one cent in the dollar raised after "admin fees".

How about... We will call them when we are ready to donate. Since there is not one person in the world that would say.. "Oh yes please Mr/Ms telemarketer.. please please call me!!" You would think they get the hint and NOT ANNOY PEOPLE. I shouldn't have to tell someone time again to F off. I shouldn't have my time wasted by something I have no interest in. I shouldn't have a call hang up in my ear after running for the phone thinking it might be someone important.. and it's not.. it's another F'n cold caller.
ohh and it doesn't stop..You have no idea you d*ckhead. Put your head back up your arse and stop telling us crap. F'n loser.

Got woken up at 4am on holidays in the UK. Global roaming means we also pay for the call. I have asked to be removed from their lists in the past but it hasn't happened. Great cause and have been and still happy to donate in shops, on line etc. but not random calls on holiday and at work.

RACQ Care Flight. I have a private number and asked them how they got my number, they said they got it off the computer. They offered to remove my name from the call list as it was a private number. That was 2 wks ago, got a call from them today.....

Call them and ask them to stop calling..... It is a charity that saves you when need it most. Complain to the government for not fully funding this service not the people trying to raise funds to save yourself or a loved ones.
