Re; Mini Bus Driver

I currently hold a open HR Vehicle Licence clear of any demerit points that permits me to drive most vehicles up to but excluding articulated trucks and various bus combinations and have held a Fork Lift certificate of competency for many years. I have driven various heavy vehicles for Australian Airways Catering, Gatic Australia, Linfox, Clean-away Industrial, and Arnotts Biscuits. These vehicles included inexperience with Hiab Hoists, front load and tipper type vehicles as well as high lift scissor vehicles. I also held the position of Driver trainer whilst at Australian Airways in relation to various tarmac vehicles.

I have also been involved in various clerical and manual type employment situations that involved direct customer contact and hands on approach to the employment situations. This included positions requiring mechanical knowledge and sales abilities along with supervisory and leadership qualifications such as Ray White sales person, Warehouse Supervisor Gatic Australia (Brendale), Warehouse Manager TDK Tiles (Virginia), Despatch Clerk Lithgo Printers (Zillmere), Labiorum and Service employee BP Australia (Nundah).

Training received in the workplace, and externally, through past and current employment situations has allowed me to develop the ability to effectively communicate with the general public and internal employees on a one to one basis or to large numbers of persons collectively. Training has also occurred in relation to updating my skills to intermediate level in Microsoft Word 2010, Outlook 2010, and Excel 2010 during 22012.

With the diversity in my working knowledge most of which has involved driving many thousand Klm’s per year throughout south east Queensland including north and south coasts as well
through to Toowoomba and as far north as Cairns, I would be able to carry out the advertised position with confidence, and would be able to quickly adjust to a new working environment allowing effective representation of your company.

I am a dedicated worker willing to carry out required shifts over a 7 day period and by living locally would be available to attend employment promptly for various shifts and to work in a team environment or as a single operator.

I have successfully completed the required medical for a Drivers Authority for General Charter and Scheduled services to comply with the required legislation covering the driving of vehicles carrying passengers and also provided the required documentation to the Department of Transport. This has been accepted and I am awaiting photographic Identification.

In relation to the position advertised I am confident that I am capable of achieving general growth, working to schedules, time frames and targets that are essential for the efficient requirements or any organisation.
