Hi, I have been MEC404 Retired for 10 Years (LOP Aug 07 - 05 Nov 07 separation date)
I spent a number of years with the Nambour AAFC guys but I got sick of the polics, I was not a staff member, I just paraded as a retired Naval officer, with permission of SNOSEQ, to parade in rig. I did not receive a cent for my nearly 8 years of dedication and hard work to get them to compliance with E&D, modern Security practice,Safe Spirit and other ADF programs including ADF Legal requirements. I am interested in being staff, but to be frank after 12 years in the RAN, and 5 as a LEUT I want my old rank, and I can not accept anything less. I realize there is a vetting process as there should be, and I have a history. I suffered from PTSD badly, and in 06/07 the RAN was not exactly pro active with mental health. My last posting was as a DO at RANKIN Division RAN RS. and the Unit Security Officer. I was a seaman Officer/JWO
BWC/SCO/Int(FQ)and qualified on every ship in the fleet at that time I Navigated Whyalla and Westralia. and completed SMOTC SMSQ I was a spook, worked at Pine Gap,DSD (now ASD) and served in IRAQ AFGHANISTAN EAST TIMOR BOUGANVILLE SOLOMONS and Indian Ocean as part of the relief for the 04 Sunami's.
