Looking a bit deeper - very dodgy company. Also trade under Gold Sun Vista Pty Ltd - their ABN was cancelled in March 2014. Went into liquidation. How are they still trading? Address was 12/72 Wises Road Maroochydore - but is up for rent now.

Hey guys... Just had this consultant call up today... Very good at pitching their new services too. The lady advised in around about fashion they were from Oaks Hotel Group and at the moment can offer (to current clients with credits to utilise on their files) VIP Lifetime membership with the concierge consultant services!! Sounded swish... and the plug continued with full access to all destinations nationally and internationally. Flights, car, cruise whatever was desired they could outsource and provide at a dirt cheap discounted rate, along with 15% travel insurance for national and international travel attached to this membership offer !! Also, up to 10 people can utilise this membership (if we permit of course)... Awesome .. I was sold... but given our current circumstances, we didn't have the asking price $290.. I was devo.. So, I asked if I could have a contact phone number so I could contact my partner to see if we had anything we could scrape together (or knew anyone who would pitch in for the once in a lifetime offer).. The lady's tone did change (duely noted now when ending the phone contact, I jumped on to do a quick check for legitimacy and coming up with nothing on the Oaks Hotel Group official website- NOTHING about this offer) and she gave this number to call back on and ask for her specifically (She was the only one manning the current client files and was only one to authorised this membership off through phone contact -- Not online) Sooooooo keep on dreaming I will of being able to be the selected few who get invited to the last minute discounted VIP rates for those 'only in your dreams with millionaire bank balance' cruises :( Sorry for the long winded explanation but I wanted to give the next down hearted person the 'your not alone' on this fake setup !! I'll apologise and stand corrected if any of these details mentioned today is incorrect. please let me know. Thankyou

Their offers are very tempting and seem amazing but you receive no extra benefit to your membership by upgrading and paying extra. The Resort Club receive the benefit.

I cancelled my useless subscription to Resort Club several years ago and a few years ago asked them to take me off all of their call-lists ... but they persist ... on both landline and mobile. I block their number(s) but they seem to have an endless supply.

Telemarketing scam. This (07) 5479 5558 number has 59 complaints so far listed on the Reverse Australia website. They appear to be a telemarketer claiming to be associated with The Resort Club (previously called Australian Discount Holidays). They specialise in scamming for bogus holiday vouchers costing around $290 to $350 a pop to gain $4,000 to $11,000 credits …. It’s a scam. Previously they traded under Gold Sun Vista Pty Ltd however, their ABN was cancelled in March 2014 and went into liquidation. How are they still trading?

After 'joining' this dodgy mob years ago, and having one lot of credit expire but still with some credit remaining, they persistently call with offers of 'upgrades' which of course involve further cost. The last call was persistent, almost threatening in tone, at the least sarcastic: "So you'd rather pay the total costs yourself??". That has convinced me it is better to lose the initial payment and not answer their calls.

The Resort Club (previously called Australian Discount Holidays). They rang me to tell me that a membership I bought few years ago is still valid and I have $1,000 credit still available, plus they will remove the 3 nights minimum, and I can use all credits for 1 trip or spread across holidays. Then went on to try to upsell me to Platinum Concierge member, with $3.5k free vouchers and removing the annual membership fee of $1,360pa apparently. And ALL only for the once up cost of $350 (of course the offer is only available today).
I told her I was happy to hear that I still have some vouchers available to use and would like to try out my current Platinum membership before outlaying any $ today to upgrade. Of course if I'm happy with the experience, then I'd consider paying to upgrade, if the deal is still available. If not available after today, that's fine, I'm happy to try the club now.
So, she hangs up on me! Very rude, this is obviously some kind of dodgy scam type of company. I rang the number back and selected option for Customer Service, as I thought I could at least try my current membership, but that line doesn't answer, just says the parties line is not available.
Good luck, they will keep calling you daily... but my general impression is that they talk a good sales pitch, but don't care at all and obviously there just to make a sale today. On this basis, I'd say either their customer service is going to be non existent, or at worse they may be a complete scam.

Caller: The Resort Club (Sunshine Coast)
Just got an unsolicited call from a young lady (her name escapes me) telling me I had joined this "Club" several years ago and that there were some unused vouchers awaiting my use. I asked that she put everything in writing and send an email. She was unwilling to do so as these "Exclusive Offers" were only available over the 'phone. We both agreed to part company at that point.

they are also calling from (07) 5606 8851 (Southport) and hang up when you answer and when you call them it is just a voice recording telling you about a "missed call" from Resort Club. I agree with all above comments they call at least twice a day.

Caller: Resort Club today
I bought vouchers years ago and have nearly $4000 worth and today I won in the monthly draw some more so making my total $11000 of holiday bookings if I pay $350 and family can use it. I didn’t accept offer as I really want to use what I have already got!!? I did try last month
to make a booking and the travel consultant never got back to me so I rang and told them again what I wanted
and again no one called back so in the end I made booking with booking.com
and got a good deal and a discount as I use them often. So there is no such thing as service with Resort Club as they only want you to keep paying $350 for more vouchers. My husband says it’s a SCAM so beware as I am fed up with them.
