Caller rang claiming to be from Telstra. Claimed that there had been security problems with Telstra's internet, and that there had be a breach in security. I asked him what he wanted, and he requested remote access to my computer so that he could patch the security problem. At which point I hung up. NEVER give someone claiming to be from your telco or internet service provider remote access to your computer unless you can check that they are legitimate. This can only be done if you contact them and get both the fault ticket docket id and the operator/service technician ids.
