Scam

Told me they were from Telstra and my internet was about to go down, i asked for their Telstra staff id number which they gave me some number. I told them they were lying and stock calling he said i was stupid so i hung up.

Caller: Alleging to be Telstra.

First I received a hang-up call from this number.
Then I decided to answer when they rang again about 3 minutes later.
Told me my internet was not secure.
As happens my internet was checked late last week.
I told her that I knew my internet was secure.
She said "Listen to me and I will tell you why it's not secure"
I said "Go ahead .. you tell me!"
She then ended the call.

why would someone from Emerald Queensland ring me. I don't recognise the name so I don't answer

Has called 3 times this afternoon and hangs up when I say hello.

Missed call. Rang back. No answer?
