This call showed as coming from Yeppoon, Queensland. When I answered (several times) there was a long period of silence, followed by a short burst of sound which sounded like background noise of a call centre, then the call was terminated from the other end. I called the number back and heard a recorded message telling me that they were a fund-raising centre of some sort and they couldn't take my call just now. I suspect they're possibly scammers setting something up.

When you call back they have a recorded message that claims they we were calling on behalf of "All Kind" from "The Fundraising Centre". With the number of calls they make and the variety of numbers they come from there is no way in hell this is legitimate. It is actual spam. Block them, and all of the following numbers they also call from:

Numbers like this from "Yeppoon Qld" have rang about 3 times each of the past 2 days - but I was working so only bumped them, then blocked the number in my break. Today I am off and have time to do this.
It must be a robocall because they are using a cluster of similar numbers saying Yeppoon Qld. Maybe it is ramped up flood fundraising - but could be an overseas scam pretending to be ! I will be giving my flood donations through a recognised charity

First it was Cairns now Yeppoon. Four now from North QLD.

(07) 4870 9224, also ending in 223, 225, 296 have been received in the last few days. Seems very likely potential 'scammers'.

Have received calls from this number, (07) 4870 9221, (07) 4870 9216, (07) 4870 9200 over the past few days. All sent to voicemail, none left a message. Not sure if it's a (legally allowed to call) charity or an outright spammer.

Calls are repeated then calls house pgone. No messages or anything
