People trying to pass off as Telstra. They want you to go into your computer and perform certain functions so they can take control. HANG UP

I have had multiple calls from this number on my landline. The person says hello with an Asian accent, the back ground noise sounds like a busy office, then they hang up

Lady said she was from Telstra. Sounded like she was in a call centre. It was a bad connection. Called last week as well wanting me to sit in front of my computer. She said Telstra was going to cut off my internet due to rubbish on the internet. When asked for a call back number she hung up. Dodgy!!

Tech remote-control scammer. Claims to be from "Telstra's internet dept" or similar, says that your internet connection will be cut off "tomorrow" because your pc is full of corrupt files which are damaging their servers. (lol), and wants you to allow them to take control of your PC and "fix" it. Usual scam routine, of course.
