Caller: Energy Promotion Same call, different day! Calling to ask if you're aware of the energy price increases - have told the bill is not under my name. Please remove my name and number. Still getting the same call ... months later

Claim they're clean energy. Keep ringing after I ask them not too. Claim they were after a lady named Jenny and the phone is under my name.

Caller: Energy (something or other) with Australian accent male voice. How many different numbers and how many times must they call? I don't even have an energy account of any kind. So it won't matter to them if I answer or not. To me it's just possible it's someone I actually know and want to hear from. This needs to be stopped.
Oh and for those who don't know, opting out was an option if you hung on long enough by dialling 5. Who knows if it works. I have, when I've spoken to a real person in Whatever Asian country they live, asked to be taken off the list. Successful results? If only one calls this week 25 will next week. Fed up to the back teeth.
Just for the one who may be thinking it's a great business strategy think about it. How often do you want to sign up with a business that annoys the crap out of you? Do you want to give them your money and see how badly they treat you after that?
Alternately, is the calling itself a money maker? A contractor paid for x amount of calls?
