Call at 6:45pm 06/04/2017 from a very pushy guy with an Indian accent wanting information about my house to see if I qualify for solar panels. Asked where he was calling from seeing this number is local to me in Townsville and he said Gold Coast. Told him this sounded dodgy and hung up. He called back 2min later asking why I hung up. Explained the discrepancy in the number and where he said he was calling from, he tried to take over so told him to go away (or words to that effect) and hung up on him. I haven't tried calling this number as WP still has it listed for these people so it may be that OS boiler rooms are hijacking aussie numbers for caller ID.
