Calls three days in a row from Sandgate QLD. I answered the third one and it was indeed Lucy from All Kind. Again there was a delay at the start of the call and the person speaking had a *very* polished speaking voice - I twigged it was likely through a voice modulator and cut her off, even after protests. I keep blocking the numbers but the number kept changing.

Caller: Lucy Same caller but a different number (07) 3150 6921, same request - one off donation for youth suicide prevention. I noted that the call had a delay at the beginning and the voice sounds like it could be a conversion to a succinct and pleasant English speaking voice. At one stage I could hear another voice speaking words a second before 'Lucy' did. I did say I would check the charity out and there was no pressure from 'Lucy' to pay anything now. I do not give anything to unsolicited callers anyway and I think perhaps they realised that I was not going to succumb.

Definitely a scam. received a call from someone who has Australian accent for suicide donation. Almost gave credit card details. When more questions were asked, she could not answer and changing the topic to get the credit card number.

Caller: All Kind Charity - Tyler My Mother was talked into giving All Kind a donation of $50 after speaking to a lady on the phone. She sent them a cheque in the mail on the proviso it was a one off. Two weeks later she gets a second call from a man. She says that she told the other person to take her off their list as she already had enough charities she supports. He talked her into donating $75 from this person. Like the first person she said he needed to send through paperwork to her as she doesn't give any details out over the phone. He replied that he didn't need to as he already had her details. My 82 year old Mum thought that was weird. She didn't receive the paperwork and checked her bank account. He had taken the details from her cheque and put it into their system and direct debited it out of her account without written authority. They have been banned from accessing her account and there will be an investigation into the second amount paid to them. DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY OR DETAILS TO THESE PEOPLE THEY PREY ON THE ELDERLY AND ARE SCAM/ FRAUD Artists!

Caller: Allkind charity fundraising centre Like the person above I also became suspicious about this after recognising the woman’s voice from a previous call being very passionate about animals in council pounds and wanting donations to help them. When I asked how this money would help she spoke about using them with children in schools. I have never heard of this and as a teacher see it as very unlikely. I was also suspicious as she was overly melodramatic almost to the point of tears. Not very convincing.

Caller: A scammer posing as a charity worker? Once again I received a telephone call from a person who has rung a number of times. They said they were from "All Kind Fund Raising Services" wanting a donation, and was VERY persistent, I declined to donate and asked them to remove my number from their data bank, which (every time) they said they could not. When I rang back the number that called me I was greeted with a message that referred me to allknd @ fundraisingservice.com.au or 1300 653 137. (Yep allknd). Searching the internet I didn't receive hits on (07) 4241 1340 or 1300 653 137, or a website referring to "All Knd Fund Raising Services" but I did receive hits only on "All Kind Fund Raising Services" attached to (07) 4241 1317 So I am led to believe this is a SCAM. Changing numbers (or access to them) as times roll on. 1300 numbers are not toll-free numbers. Call charges apply depending on whether the call is made from a fixed landline or a mobile. The caller is charged at a local call rate if dialing from a fixed landline. Calls made from a mobile is charged according to the mobile carrier. Now;1300 653 137 when dialed, is answered as a charity, however it always has "staff busy on other calls, so if you leave your name and phone number someone will get back to you". Yes... and probably a number of "other charities" will then start calling me. I cannot help but think that this is a scam. And once you are in their treadmill, "give up hope all ye who enter their wicked domain".
