Caller: Guide Dogs Queensland Big supporter of this organisation and the dogs they produce. However recent excessive telemarketing at night has reached a new nuisance level. There is no no difference between: solar, financial and power utility telemarketers.

Caller: Guide Dogs QLD This number has rung me 22 days in a row. I answered the first call, said I wasn't able to donate due to not working at the moment, and yet they continue to harass. Ended up blocking the number and lodging a formal complaint.

Caller: Guide Dogs Qld I wish I never donated to this organisation as the phone calls don’t stop. I’ve blocked the number but it won’t be long before they start calling from a different number. Can’t help but wonder how much of my money made it to training the dogs and how much was spent on employing people to make these annoying calls.

Caller: Responding I am the Call Centre Manager for the Guide Dogs Fundraising Team. I would like to apologise to you personally for this experience. We had a glitch with our Phone System and the reporting of attempted calls, where it continued calling people against our best intent. We have since rectified this and you should hear from us far less frequently. Once again I do apologise. We would never intentionally ring anyone that often.

I have been experience calls nearly every day or 2nd day in the last month or two, so I don't think the problem has been rectified

Caller: No Idea Started on my spiel - you have called Scams unlimited, how my I direct your call, 1 Telstra etc etc, they hung up. Reading this is it does appear legitimate, but I have never donated to Guide Dogs, I have the charities I support, unfortunately they are not one of them.

Caller: Guide dogs When they can tell me how much from each dollar goes toward the dogs I may have a different view,I suspect it would only be a couple of cents out of every dollar,if that.

Caller: Guide Dogs Qld Exactly same here. Also aged related and genetic multi-system disability that cost a lot in meds etc. They persist after you tell them "no" and you are disabled. I don't think even debt collectors can act like this! Have gone from donor to someone who truly detests this organisation!

Caller: Guide Dogs Qld Same here. I've b locked them, but still get through. Won't take "no" as an answer. I've been polite as I suspect some people I'm talking with may be blind etc but enough is enough. Regret ever donating to them. Abuse the fact you can't put charity on do not call register

Caller: Unknown Number (Apparently Guide Dogs Australia) You donate to the Guide Dogs ONCE in 2020 and they just keep calling every few months. I’m absolutely over it! They do amazing work, I understand that and respect them for that. But calling every few months when you’ve requested they DONT call you, it’s bloody annoying!
