Why offer online quote only to call and try to pressure sell - for this reason alone im not interested in their product and have chosen to go with someone else

Wanted to get an online quote as I hate talking to these insurance companies as it's a complete waste of time and they force me to talk to a person and waste my time!
No thanks. I don't even want to know how much your premium is. I will just go with someone else who doesn't force you to speak to a mind numbing person just to get a quote.

I did a quote online then before finished a message came up that I would receive a call then she called.
Went on and on and, asked all the same questions I did on net it’s a pain in the bum.
So don’t bother.

What's the point of getting an online quote if they hide the quote and call you anyway? Not worth the time or effort, no thanks, goodbye youi.

Same experience as others. Trying to get an online quote, tricked into providing a phone number, online quote wasn't provided. I've blocked the number and reported as SPAM so hopefully ACMA will do what they're supposed to and send a warning to YOUI about spamming. Not holding my breath but will NEVER insure with YOUI as a result of this behaviour.

I requested for online quote. They called me immediately and asking everything what I provided. I asked why are you asking these question, those already answered online. The guy replied it will take 15-min call. Just dropped the call.

Apparently it’s YOUI; I already spoke to someone and they won’t even insure me - they say I am in a flood zone. Absolute bull! So I asked about car insurance, since I was on phone. Guess what - more than my current insurance and they wanted extra to insure the bullbar and the actual tray part of my Rodeo. I don’t think so! Their attempt to ring me doesn’t ID them and the message was blank. Thank heavens for reverseau and all the comments for this number!

All good. A payment had not gone through so they called me. Nothing harassing. Just a follow up.

I have been with Youi for sometime now and I have never had an issue. I find them easy to deal with and their prices are very competitive with other insurers.

I can only go by my past dealings with Youi and I would recommend Youi to anyone.

I have everything from cars to house insured with them and I have saved a lot of money over the years.

Same as others.
I did an 'online quote' which turned in to a phone call from a very fast talking person.
At first I didn't even recognise the word "Youi" when they rang.
Anyways... went through everything on the phone.. again... they wanted me to buy then and there... without even reading anything... I said email me and call me in a week...
Next day... phone rings again.... youi....

It's definitely Youi. But not necessarily always about selling you a policy. My compulsory car insurance had to be cancelled as part of moving interstate, to a state where Youi is not an insurer. They received a letter from the car registration authority in my previous state, to inform them that my car is no longer registered in that state so therefore the Youi policy has to be cancelled. Youi was calling me to advise me of next steps to ensure the policy is cancelled properly and that I can get a partial refund on the unused portion. (ie they were not trying to sell me anything, nor spam me)

Better not get quotation from them, otherwise you will get dozen calls from them. And they still calling you at 9pm

As with others. They rang after an online quote was already provided to ask more questions and ended up quoting a second figure twice that of both their online quote AND that from my current insurer. Gone right off them.

Same as everyone else’s comments when I said I didn’t want to speak to anyone but want quote sent to my email not only was the quote around $880 with a $900 odd excess but when I changed the date to supposedly start the next week the premium jumped up and this is before you can choose anything else why would I insure with them when my current insurer charges me $79 a month for agreed value and a $600 excess and now youi will not stop calling it’s harassment

Same as the other comments. Once I finally got a quote from them it was double what others had quoted (Jetski), their sales tactics are tacky. Club Marine was easy. I did do them the courtesy of replying by email, no thanks, I guess they’ll keep harassing me now.

Tried to obtain online House insurance quote. Ended up $400 more than my current insurer so definitely not cheaper.

I have applied for quote online for my care insure. They call me back and ask a lot of question that I already fill out on online form. Until at the end, I ask for a price, she didn't give me a price but ask for my credit card instead. I tell her to send me information to my email, but never got one from them. I refuse to give my credit card information then hang up. It was scam.
