While trying to get an online quote and not wanting to be called on the phone, they automatically call you without any option to choose if you would prefer that or not.
I find this practice offensive and intrusive.
I go online to get quotes because I do NOT want to be called or to talk to someone on the phone.
I will NEVER insure with youi while this practice continues

Youi - unbelievable really. Bought a bike to ride to work leaving car in garage 5 days a week. thought youi would be cheaper. even with the car being locked up everyday 5/7 days a week, they wanted 600 more a year than AAMI.

Agree with everyone else. They are not cheap, their calling is harassing, and it was an 'online quote' which after seeing I knew I would not be taking up.

They send a PIN to your mobile then hide the quote online so they can "call you to tailor the quote" why even suggest that you can do a quote online if they spam you further?

Youi car insurance. If you go into their website for a quite, they request your phone number to receive a pin code to proceed, then they don't make available the quote system. they say they have to call you. now won't stop calling me.

Did an online quote with Youi and came up "one of our team will call you shortly". Phone rang instantly, then ran immediately again when I didn't answer the first time. Left a voicemail, then texted me with Hi, It's Paul from you i - call me back on (07) 3852 7730 otherwise, when's a good time to chat? If I wanted to speak directly to you I would have called, I only wanted an online quote at this stage and don't want the hard sell. And by the way your quote was twice the amount of everyone else. Put me off ever considering Youi again.

Tried to get a quote online. Then a pin code followed by a 26 minute diatribe and questions identical to what I filled in on the online quote. Then wanted bank details over the phone. No thank you mate. Then the diatribe started again
Just told them to go away.
Keep away from Youi insurance

Asked for an online quote. Didn't get it, but they got my mobile number and have phoned me dozens of times, including at 9:00 at night! Who do they think they are to harass people like this? I won't be dealing with this company again!

Good to know who this is. Although I had my suspicions already. I wanted an online quote. Went through the entire process online only to be told that I was a 'preferred' customer and would be contacted by someone by phone. My phone has rung constantly all day! Oh and the questions in their online quote are rediculous!

As others have reported, I was doing an online quote with YOUI car insurance, which made me enter my mobile number to send a pin number to retrieve the quote. Within seconds I received two calls from YOUI plus a text message saying they will call again. I responded to the text message advising them I find their company deceptive of making unsolicited calls without providing an quote online and to remove my phone number and email address from their system and never contact me again.

wanted an online quote price but instead got a 30 minute phone call to tell me why the premium is so high. Time wasted and I went with another premium provider

I wanted another quote for my car insurance. They ask for your phone number to send a 'pin' which I thought was weird for an insurance quote and they call you as soon as you press submit for a quote. I will be cancelling my CTP and placing it elsewhere. I find this practice inappropriate and offensive.
