I never answer an unknown number either, always check through reverse phone number. Then I block it.

Missed a call from this number this morning. Checked it here first because I'm sick of marketing or prank calls. Good thing i did. Number is blocked now thanks to everyone who reported it here!

Same thing today while at work. It's really scary as I am the main contact number if any of my young adult children should have an accident. Of course I hung up on the second option. When I pressed 1 for having an accident they said This is First Response , whats the details of your accident> And I said I didn't have one that I know of, so they hung up. The 'operator' had an Indian accent - it sounded like a real call centre in the background

Had the same "Have you had an accident in the last year ?" - I demanded to know who he worked for - replied "The First Response Team" - searched 'net for more info - came up with what I expected - links to police, fire and ambulance… Scamming scumbag didn't call back

Got called, told i was in a accident. I disputed and told them this was probably one of the dumbest scam calls i have ever had. He got angry and raised voice asking how i would know its a scam. I said "I live on a island that has 6 cars, and as i don't drive any of them, i doubt i have been in an accident". Got hung up on. So dumb...so, so dumb

Tried ringing me today... didn't answer. Scam as I don't know anyone or have any business with any company from Queensland.

Car Accident scam! You ask them what information they have and they tell you they only have information about you being in an accident.

"I'm calling from First Response" - English accent, busy sounding call centre background noise.
I'd heard about this scam already - and when I told the guy to "F**k off Scammer" he just laughed. They don't give a sh*t

Just got a call from the English guy asking if I had been in an accident. I got quite terse with him and he gave up very easily... Wonder how long before they call back, now that I know about this I cant wait till they do!!!!

Had a call today from male with British accent about "a motor vehicle accident you had sometime in the last 12 months" Laughed at him and asked him what he was trying to scam out of me as this is the third call I have had like this from different numbers, and haven't had any accident. Told me must be a fault in their system....ok buddy

Knew my real name when they rung.
Same guy rang a month apart with a Northern English accent, saying he was from the First Response Team. I asked what his website was and he said "http://firstresponseteam.co.uk". Asked why a UK company is calling me but said they were based in Australia and didn't know why the website was UK.
Like everyone else, never got far enough to know what they were up to.
