Caller: From some sort of accident company

Total scam. Had a pause in line before anyone spoke. I hung up before they could talk to much. From an accident company. As soon as I heard that I disconnected. Anything to do with any accident that you have no prior knowledge of would be in writing and from the direct insurance company.

Did not recognize this number and caller did not leave message - looked up number here and found all these comments - thanks for the update everyone - have now blocked the number

Indian who said that my name and details had been given to them as I had been in a vehicle accident. I said when was the accident and he said he did not know and that I could have been a passenger. He was starting to offer me a "deal" to avoid insurance claim when I told him that I do not drive and not been in any car in over a year. And I had fun with a couple of descriptive phrases about the nature of his birth. He could not hang up fast enough.

Tried to call number back and got the message the number was disconnected

i have had calls from this number three times - twice they said they were from accident claims department and once they said they were from an electricy company on all occasions I told them they had contacted a Qld police officer they promptly hung up DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, BLOCK THEIR NUMBER

Believe that they got my number from an online registration. Number is passed on to these companies.

Called me and said that I had been driving when involved in a car accident. I asked which vehicle was involved. He said that he didn't have that information. I called him a "F$#king little scammer" and he denied it. I laughed at him, told him to "p#ss off" and hung up. Lowlife scum.

this number has tried calling for a few days now! i dont answer unknown numbers.. have been called by so called "insurance" people before and its a huge scam. i hope no one falls for it.

Saying they are accident injury and if I have been in a car accident in the last 12 months. I said to the caller that she is a fraud and you should not be cold calling me. She assured me she was not a fraud. I told her to take my phone number off her sucker list!!

My BIG QUESTION how is it the phone companies do not shut these scam heads down. They basically just operate under the wings of the big companies and the these big companies do not give a dam, I look forward to new laws being put in place to Stop these large phone companies from ignoring scam artists from operating under their wings, we cant just keep blaming these callers with funny voices any longer

Just received the call now. Exactly the same as mentioned in all the other comments. A man with an Indian sounding accent claiming that I'd been in an accident. Long pause at the start of the call before he spoke. I've not blocked the number.

A guy calling about a vehicle account in a year. He knew about your name, tel and address but nothing about your vehicle.

My phone told me it was a spam...then possible fraud. So Ive blocked the nbr. Ive had at least another call from same mob saying Ive been in an accident...gave them what for and said I would be reporting them. Looks like they have a new nbr to harass people.

This group have called me countless times, and despite me telling them they are scammers and I don't know how they sleep at night, they continue to call me! They have my name, and got it when I filled in a scam survey online a couple of years ago.
