Caller: I think it was a hearing aid company. It really annoys me that these people are relentless. I wanted info on hearing aids, but once you put your email in they want more info, so I cancelled out. Obviously they still keep cancelled info. I have blocked number now.

Caller: Audika I have received two calls in the past two days and both times I picked up the phone, said hello - only to be hung up on. The Receptionist I spoke with today said that it was a genuine call. She was looking for a past client who apparently had given my now phone number to them back in 2015. Doesn't explain why I was hung up on without being spoken to though. She then went on to "explain" their service. Apparently they are trying to get the message out about healthy hearing. They offer a free hearing check for everyone, pensioner or not, and if you are a QANTAS Frequent Flyer member, you get bonus points for using the service. Sounded more like an excuse to call and then pitch the service when you call them back to find out what they were calling for. Probably legitimate but I'm really fed up with receiving calls from random companies only to be hung up on when I answer or not leaving a message. What's the point in calling in the first place?

Caller: (07) 3608 7991 This number has been calling me every second day. I am sure they got me last year too as I recall answering once before and I told them I was not interested. I also asked them to remove me from their list. Obviously that never happened. Their call was basically telling me I was due for a hearing test as my last one was over 5 years ago. Only problem is I don't recall even having a test with them. At that time of when I answered the call they had previously tried also calling me every second day for like a week. They never left any voice mail. I usually never answer a call I don't know unless they leave a message. It's rather annoying if people keep calling without leaving a message. It's obviously not urgent not to leave a message and also obviously a telemarker as I have never heard a telemarketer leave a message before.
It appears they're trying again. I googled the number and this page came up.

Caller: (07) 3608 7991 - Audika Hearing clinic in Queensland (I think they may have bought out the clinic that I attended one time for a pre-work hearing test back in 2017, which is how they got my number?). Started calling 1-2 times daily (always during working hours) but won't leave a message for a return call. Really annoying, so I blocked the number.

On facebook you enter your email address for free hearing test and free trial of hearing aids, seems legit advert though but the businesses shut at 3.30pm useless for full time workers, so not bothering, Indian lady, makes you sus now at them having so much info blocked them on my mobile # and will block them on my email on Telstra server as well, I asked was there a charge she said no it was free

Caller: (07) 3608 7991 AUDIKA Proceeded to ask for my Mother, once we told them that she had passed last year, they then continued on pressuring us for more information on her, how she died, when exactly she did. this was very hard for my sister who answered the call. there needs to be a law against this kind of crap
