Caller: Charter Mercantile Agency Debt Collectors Don't answer the call unless you want to pay debt. Remember, folks: if you don't acknowledge debt for five years, you will stop being chased ;)

Caller: CMA (debt collector Charter Mercantile) They chase you for Telstra debts. A look at their reviews on google and task pilot show that a lot of the time they get their payment and keep holding out their hand for more or don’t inform Telstra the slate is clean. Don’t call them back. If Telstra doesn’t give you a heads up it’s going to a debt collector, you didn’t consent to your information being passed to a third party to hound you thrice a day.

Caller: ??? A recorded voice left a message on my phone for me saying they were from CMA & could I please call them back on 1300 554 564 & could I quote [a very long reference number]. The only other information I have is they are from Brisbane, Queensland. I didn’t return the call to the 1300 number.

Not sure who this caller is, I called back yesterday and the man on the phone didn't know who was trying to call me, he took my name and said he'd check.
I asked where he was calling from but he unfortunately had a pretty thick accent, could not understand what he was saying.
