too many calls...not interested

I got my mobile number last week. Nobody knows my number except Vodafone. I am having annoying calls from this number

Same as most of the above, rings, goes to answering machine then they hang up without a message. I answered today but got silence!!!

Calls up to a dozen times or more times mostly during the day and never leave a message. We dont answer a number if we dont know who it is so we just let it ring out.It used to creep me out but now I know its a nuisance call it just makes me really angry.I will get it blocked.They probably got it from the internet as I sign a lot of petitions.

What's more concerning that they called on my home phone first which I screened and they left no message, but virtually within 3 minutes my mobile rang with the same number.

They constantly call on both my mobile and home number at all hours - very annoying! Definitely SPAM.

These people have called me 14 times, hang up each time I pick up and when I call back I get the VM about a charity and a ramble email address that is incomprehensible so unable to Stop them. I have blocked them as spam because any charity that behaves like this is not going to get a penny of mine!

They keep hanging up when I answer too.... I donate to charities as a tax cut, and I am getting over this kind of charity attacks.. once they get you as a donator... it's a constant enslaught from every charity around. It really puts you off wanting to give money in the future.

Especially since I am registered on the Australian Governements 'do not call register'.....

Thanks James - they just rand asking for money for Helpline and I stupidly gave my details out to them......

Thanks to all previous posts, I’ve now blocked this number on my mobile and my landline. My landline phone is a Panasonic KX-TG7893AZ that displays and logs calls and can block numbers. It can speak the name of the person or the number that is calling you so can elect not to pick up if you don’t recognise the caller. It also comes with a message recorder and a stack of other handy features. If you’re sick of nuisance callers, I highly recommend getting a home phone that can block callers.

I am grateful for this great service and the comments above - I learnt how to block unwanted calls from this number and it saved me the cost of an interstate call.

They tried calling me today, but I was in the car so didn't answer, so glad I didn't waste time pulling over! Bloody parasites!

I got a call- charity group for guide dogs

Telemarketer that rings on behalf of charities. In my case because I donated to Save the Children. Rang Save the Children and told them to stop sending me mail and giving my details out yo third parties to abuse.

Here is an idea. How about I call you guys when I want to donate?

Pareto Phone are the company that are behind this number. Google them and ring their offices up and hang up. See how they like it.

I Keep getting missed calls from this number (07) 3606 0825 on a daily basis .... Thanks to these posts I am ignoring them hoping they will go away !
