I contacted them via email and asked to remove my number from their calling lists. will see what happens

Earlier today received a call from this individual. As with other commentators, no answer when phone picked up.
More oxygen wasters, I'm on 'Do No Call Registry' but it means nothing because they are allegedly calling for a charity. The logic of calling for charity and then not speaking to you is stupid.
Charity begins at home, but keep it up and you may get something in return that you will regret.

Ha - this number is programmed into my phone as "do not answer" so didn't answer when they called. Then they called the land line - didn't answer that either. Can't stand these constant harassing calls.

they managed to ring a phone number that only Vodafone and I have (and i don't know it as it is for the mobile data on my andriod tablet) they rang three times, I finally answered and they asked for Melissa (not my name).

Persistent aren't they.....

I have received 4 calls in 2 day from this number. day time and night. how do we stop them calling

Hangs up when you answer. I have a new phone with Call Guard ..... gladly added this number in to block future calls

I have had non-stop calls from this number ever since I became a member on Change and my email is linked to my mobile number, so Change could be giving out emails/phone numbers to third party websites once you join. I hope this isn't the case, because there's alot of good petitions on that website I want to help win but I am not ok with my mobile number being handed out to potential scammers!

Constant harassing calls on a daily basis trying to get me to donate for a charity that involves children even though my number is on the DNC list!
They also seem to know my email address which is very annoying.
I will NOT be handing over my credit card details to a stranger over the phone as cold calling scams are becoming more and more common these days.
The number has now been blocked.

Hi TL- unfortunately registering on DNC does not block charities from calling.

Calling (on this occasion) on behalf of Heart Foundation, soliciting increased monthly donations from existing supporters like myself. Like many of these calls the line was silent for a few seconds until the call was transferred to a free operator.

I AM on the DNC register and I still get many daily calls from charities or scammers (yes I know the difference). The reason I get annoyed, besides the regular intrusions, is that all the hang-ups clog my answering machine and it's near impossible to delete them individually. And some of these callers will call my home phone, hang up, and then call my mobile phone and hang up - and this will happen multiple times a day which is harassment.

But my question to you TL is why are you "taking time" here to whine about other supposed "whiners"? That's just rude. You don't know other people's circumstances.
