Got a call at least 2-3 times a day for 4 days now from this number. I didn't bother to answer but it's so annoying. After reading this, so grateful for the information i got. Hope they get tired of calling me then.

Yes they kept calling me everyday on my mobile and land line and they never leave any messages. I think this is a scam. I am going to call my service provider tomorrow for my land line and mobile to tell them about this phone number and see if they can help me to block this number.

Got a call today from this number. Yhought it was a friend calling from Qld but Googled the number & found this site. Glad I didnt spend the money on returning the call.

Has rung 4 times in last 2 days. When I answer just hangs up. Really appreciate having this website to see that I am not the only one. Thanks, everyone for your feedback!

Calls me allthe time, not sure who it is

I have a private number and am unlisted in the ph directory. How do I stop them calling?

I have had endless calls from his number also. I am just letting it ring out when they call..... they'll get sick of calling soon :) x

I have done further research into this though and the are a spoof company. They make out they are fom charities and different organisations etc to obtain money from y9u, it's actually a call centre in india.

Missed call from this number. It's annoying about "donation" calls as I'm on the DNCR. Anyways similar to the other poster my voicemail diverts to a Telstra error test number lol.

Caller said they were calling on behalf of Save the Children. Are they Scams or are they just charity telemarketers? I am in NZ on a cellphone and they called me. I have previously donated before to Save the children but not via he phone and they asked for me by name so I am assuming that they call on behalf of charity organisations?

Yep have had a number of calls from this number over the last few weeks which I have not answered. Decided to call them back last night to which I got a recorded message about charities..
I answered it tonight and very promptly told them to never call me again and hung up... We'll see if they try again tomorrow! :/

They just keep calling everyday for the last week and its getting later into the night each time. I don't pick up and they never leave a message. I don't trust this number!

so over getting calls from them.. first it was life insurance, now Charities!? can they just leave me the hell alone!

Two months ago I got call from this number, I was on something else and hung up, searched this number from Internet and know it's a donation request company.

Then received the call again, they said they are from xxx International, I told them I am running to a meeting, ask them call back later.

Then had the call from them a couple of times, just don't answer it every time.

This number has called several times, but I googled it and read this feedback and hadn't answered the number until today, when the caller hung up as soon as I answered. I rang back, and heard a recorded message stating that it was an organization calling on behalf of "a charity I had supported". It gave no name, and said the phone number was unattended, but they might call me again. No way to leave a message or opt out. (I'm on the DNC register.) Who can we contact to stop this? I wonder if it is a crook hoping to get credit card numbers, or if it really does phone to make money out of pressuring people into making donations (which I'm aware are entirely snaffled by the middleman for some huge amount of time with the approval of charities - which is disgraceful and should be made known upfront.) If I knew which charity it was ringing on behalf of I'd cancel all my future donations to that charity.

Receiving calls from the number during the middle of the night, like around 3am to 7am finally managed to speak to someone when they answered, they told me they were from the cancer council and were very knowledgeable about the recent news and updates about the cancer council although I said I was unable to make a payment currently and that I would contact them if I wanted to participate.

When I called the the actual cancer council the next day they said it wasn't one of their numbers and that they wouldn't and cannot call around those hours and that it was a SCAM.

this should be stopped, they continually call my mobile and home number. If I did this to a person I would be in trouble for harassment , why does it not apply to these people?
