Want to know who's calling me

Called my employer saying they were trying to contact me about a personal matter. Don't know who they are or how they knew who my employer is. Not happy.

Had personal information about me, my old address, and my room mate at the time. Wanted information on how to contact the old room mate, but wouldn't provide a company name.
