Reports elsewhere show over 100 people were called on this number today. Those who called back went to a menu saying Press 1 to be removed from our database or 2 to speak to an e-commerce expert. If you didn't know, they don't remove you from the database, whether you press a number or not! The idea is simply to trick you into confirming you will listen to the call, so they know to either try you later, or to put you through to some criminal reading his scam script to you.
You can use an app to block all numbers not in your contacts list, and that seems to be the only way that actually makes them slow down and eventually stop calling. There is NOTHING you can say that will make them take you off their list no matter how much you scream and yell. They're used to it If you have a landline and cannot run apps like this, you can buy a device to screen or block calls. Just google call blocking device for landlines - I bought one for my elderly mother, she knows the calls are fake but is not technical enough to stop them. I don't want them pestering her, they're just dirty criminal scum, I don't want to hear what they say and I have nothing to say to them All those scams depend on one thing - you falling for it. Believe NOTHING from incoming calls, texts, emails etc. If you have doubts, hang up, look up the REAL number yourself, then you call them, not the other way around, and ask if the call you received was genuine. THEN you can talk to them!

I don't even have any contacts in Queensland! Certainly it is not on my contacts list and the caller did not leave a message, so I have blocked the call. I rang the number on a silent line and there was no dial tone nor any answer????!!!! Scammers blocked.

From May to September, 2023, a call from this number at least once a month even after I blocked the number. I don't know how they got around my mobile's blocking number system. Same number. Same time of day (within 1/2 hour). Some people must be falling for these scams otherwise these undesirables would not bother. Please do not fall for these.

This number is already blocked on my phone but still calls! I can't believe in this day and age of A.I. that the telcos can't block calls from unowned, fake numbers. I.e, unless the number belongs to a legitimate entity they should be blocked. If the scammers can circumvent the sytem with false numbers, the telcos should be able to shut down that loop hole.
