Caller: claimed ANZ said I'd been charged for$900 US gift card and then tried to get me to look up an IP address on my phone showing I was in the US according to my phone. I said I'd call the number he rang me from and my number for ANZ and verify. he was Indian I think. he said he wouldn't cancel my transaction and card if I didn't continue with his reparations!!! I said that proves you are a scammer and hung up.

Getting daily calls from random landline numbers. My phone flags them as spam so I don't answer and block the number. But the next day I will get another call from a new number. I know my phone number and email address have been involved in 2 x data breaches, so I assume some enterprising scammer just has my details on auto-dial. Very annoying.

My phone flagged this number as potential spam, so I didn't answer. Having read the comments, I'm glad I didn't pick up.

Said she calling from EBay. Like other callers mention about a AUD 500 gift card purchased from California. She insisted I should login my account and check. However, I told her I will check later and she asked me to shut up.

Caller: Claiming to be eBay Getting more clever, offering to correct a $500 gift card order made from California that probably wasn't mine. I didn't bite, but I did check my account after the call, just in case. There was no indication of any such order.
