Same number saying they were from Apia

I received a call from this number reporting they were from one of the large Australian insurance companies and wished to speak to me about a motor vehicle accident. As i was already aware of this scam, and haven't had an accident in 15 years i new it was scam. Australian Federal Police, i hope will take up this matter soon.

Indian man......pattern forming here.....letting me know he had details on my claim with shannons....which i do have....he wanted rego and name etc....i was.not giving anything out....as well as.my.mobile listed number as a scam....i refused to assist and called shannons who confirmed it was not them that called....block the number and move on people

Got a call from them asking for my registration number and personal information in regards to an accident but could not provide any information about said accident.

I got phone call from same number stating they are from GIO Insurance. Indian man stating he needs to verify who i am. Wanted name, address and date of birth. I told him i am not verifying anything as you seem to know who i am by calling me and stating my name. He quickly said he would email me the details. Dodgy GIO Insurance now trying identify theft.

Just had call from someone stating they are calling from GIO. He then wanted me to verify who i was. Wanted name, address and Date of birth. Told him I'm not verifying anything..i said you called me so you must know who i am i should be verifying who you are. They hung up. Suncorp trying to steal my identity!! They are already theives

I am constantly getting missed calls from this number with no message being left.

Male with indian accent rang my mobile, said he was from Suncorp Insurance regarding an incident in April, asked for my full name - I didn't give it. Asked for my car rego - I didn't give it. Told him to put it in writing and I would look at it. He agreed but didn't ask for my address.- This is a new scam to me but looks like it has been going on for ages

Purported to be from AAMI wanting us to tow a vehicle in Canberra.
We're in Far North Queensland!!

this number called me today at 12:58 saying they were AAMI asking for last name DOB etc regarding claim ... smarter than that goodbye told me to call back on a different phone number

It's AAMI regarding a claim I've lodged.

Scam. Just block the caller.

had call from this number didn't answer as I don't answer numbers idk, left a message knew my name and said it was Nicole from aami and left a reference number, tried calling back but number disconnected??

Rang, but I didn't answer as I do not know anyone from the area code. A man with an Indian accent left a message pretending to be from AAMI. They even left a false reference number and a separate number to call back on (not the AAMI number).
This is a complete scam!
They tried to get my partner around Christmas last year too. They're trying to get people to pay excess for false claims over the phone. Do not fall for it.
I'm concerned about how they got into the insurance databases in the first place though.

Have several missed calls from this number, once they even left me a voicemail. It appears to be a woman of indain nationality who said she was from JUST CAR INSURANCE. Try to call them back and it's not in service, like everyone else here has stated. Who the heck is this?
