Saw call was from an 07 area code. Didn't answer. Thanks to you guys, I now know it was from Budget Direct. I had requested an online quote from them and within 30 minutes received the phone call. Budget Direct was more expensive than RACV! So have no intention of proceeding.
Now I'll have to put up with continual phone calls from this number...I should not have used my correct landline number (at least I was wary about giving them my mobile number).

this nation is disgusting for allowing these idiots to harras people. first, they ask you millions of totally unnecessary questions. I only wanted a quote for car insurance, not to give my information to some idiots who upsell them to the third party.

Answered this call but no one spoke so I blocked it. I think it must have been Budget Direct as I was wanting a quote on line for insurance.

This call came through as a silent call. I can only presume it was something to do with car insurance (possibly Youi) as my hubby has been getting on-line quotes. I never answer silent calls!!

Same issue here, did a bunch of online quotes for car insurance and started getting phone calls every 10 minutes from this number despite indicating preference for email contact.

I believe it's actually a sales centre servicing multiple insurers, as a number of the companies online forms were exactly the same design, gave the same quote, and the caller ID was the same each time (even though when I finally started answering them, the person I spoke to claimed to be from different companies each time: Virgin, Budget, etc.).

I did an online quote with Budget Direct, and half an hour later I got 2 calls from it. When I answered the phone, it didn't reply at all and hanged up in a few seconds.

I filled an online car insurance from budget.
No idea of value of insurance.
Nothing on their quote.
Decided not to bother with them.
But they still called 3 yimes.

Didn't like the offer or terms and conditions I got by email.
Now they keep calling my mobile, never asked to be called, it's annoying.
Sick of the ads that this company is the best on tv very misleading.

I didn't want their insurance 'çause they wanted me to have my near new vehicle inspected. no other company asks.
I never asked to be called.

I have received 6 phone calls in an hour. I answered one and no one spoke back. I filled out a form for a quote last night with budget direct and seeing these comments leads me to believe it's probably them.

filled in online insurance comparison via Comparethemarket. Selected Budget Direct now getting hassled so going with another insurance company.
