Just recieved a phone call at work from this number looking for an aquaintance. not sure where they got my number. his name was Joseph Mejia. asked me to contact my friend about urgent matter and for friend to call back within 2 hours.

He called looking for an ex fellow employee and how to find him. Not sure how this scam would work but looks like they have been at it for a few years.

I’ve received the same as the previous messages. They’ve called in relation to a relative saying it’s an urgent matter and they’ve been trying to contact said relative to no avail. Joseph wouldn’t give any other details as to company or what it was in relation too.

Received a phone call from a Joseph asking about contact details for someone with the same surname as mine that I had never heard of.

I called back number (07) 3422 6576 reached IVR for Credit Corp.

Caller: Joseph

Would not give full name or company & chasing a relative saying it was a urgent personal matter. I told him it was a scam. 15mins later another relative calls me distressed. Looks like they are going thru the phone book. By the way, the person they are chasing does not have debt. DO NOT give any info.

Credit Corp! somehow they got the number of my relatives and were calling them even though they wanted to speak to my husband.

I called back number (07) 3422 6576 was put on hold music but no one answered the call.
