Just received call asked to answer questions i said no she tried to agrue with me so i hung up number called back straight away wtf

Just had a call from it. As soon as I picked up the phone I heard a beep, about a mid-range F musical note. When I spoke, the tone stopped and the call was disconnected.
I think these are like an auto-dialer they use to call you at a particular time, and they listen for either a "Hello" voice or a voicemail message. Then, from that they can determine what times of the day you're likely to pick up the call, and a few days / weeks later you get a call at about the same time from various other numbers who are nuisance calls.

I've recently been getting the same survey as Bianca, they say they want 30 seconds of my time and then ask me if I agree "that the cost of living in Australia has increased?" and then boom, they hang up. No "Thanks, goodbye." or even another question.

Very strange that one, who would disagree with that statement?

Same. hung up as soon as I answered, then called back to have a optus redirect saying the number is disconnected.

I have been getting this call several times over the last couple of weeks, very rude and talk over the top of me when I tried to tell them I'm not interested and to stop calling me.

Recieved a call saying they were conducting a survey on the cost of living in Australia, and asked if I think the price of living has increased.. All before I even had a chance to say hello when I answered. They didn't say who they were, didn't ask who they were speaking to to confirm they had the right number, didn't ask if I had the time to answer a few questions... Told her I was driving and couldn't speak, she rudely said it didn't matter and would only take thirty seconds. Gave her a mouthful about the responsibilities of driving and hung up.

Me too, but when I callback number is no longer in use, switched off, or currently unavailable,,,? The message is from an Optus number redirect service wtf?

I've been getting numerous calls from this number and when I call back hangs up straight away!!!!! Who the f*ck is this!!!!!
