Steve from 3299 3539 pretends to be Telstra, but after speaking to Telstra, they don't give out just names they have ID Numbers, Telstra had not been calling me. He knew my account number, but not the correct name on the bill. He was very fast at talking and kept avoiding my questions. Telling me his tech was in the area and would be out on Monday 12pm etc. Very persistent, but just a scam.

They call pretending to be Telstra. Lying

Telemarketer. Told them i wasn't intersted and they called me straight back anyway. Blocking this one.

Internet/Phone telemarketer. Hard sales-man tactics, lying (i.e., "this is not a sales call") and questionable tactics (i.e., "we're going to digitize the network in the areas of all our customers").

Besides all that, he was a nice enough guy and very courteous in his termination of the call. He even gave me a "god bless you"!

These telemarketers are pests and call 2-3 times daily even when you tell them your not interested.
