A woman named Sonja Thomas called me from (07) 3144 6344 however, when she left a message, the return phone number was (07) 3291 9519. This is the 1st strong sign the caller is a debt collector. Although Sonja Thomas introduced herself formally, indicating and sounding professional as someone calling from a business would sound, she did not state what company or where she was calling from. This is Business etiquette, hence the 2nd strong sign Sonja is a Debt Collector. For the 3rd sign, Sonja Thomas did not state her business. Considering she inappropriately called my work phone number, which went through to my voice mail which is identifying, there is no reason for anyone, particularly those calling for a business related matter, to not at least state their name, company & the business they wish to discuss.

These guys just don't give in, they called my inlaws, wife, her work, my work and my mobile at all house of the day and night. Never leave a message and want very personal details from you when you contact them.. Tell them to sod off as I did.

I got a call from a blocked number to my mobile and landline and they quoted this number to call back on. Who are they? They wouldn't disclose what company they are from, only a vague answer and that they called from Queensland/Brisbane.

called asking about a friend's contact details, claiming they are from the st george bank, apparently they call every person in the vicinity and every family member. their number has a message but no company name.
