I had a traffic bingle recently and this number has been repeatedly calling my mobile number. I was too busy with hospital matters to take any calls but today I answered it. Indian accent said he was from the W.A. Insurance Commission and started going through questions of car type, did I do police report, other car rego to which I answered but when he got to my date of birth, I stopped. Said I was too tired from hospital and can't focus and will do things online. He didn't say much and went silent. I said goodbye and hung up and checked this site. Obviously fraudsters. Where are they getting this info?

Indian male called my client about accident. It has nothing to do with our client and this is a scam. DO NOT disclose information. End the call.

Pestering me for details about an accident that I’ve never had, and continuing to mention that I need to give them rego numbers etc. I asked what kind of scam is this and they said this is not a scam etc. I continued to tell them I’ve never had an accident then one said “ you can go and f*ck yourself “ and I told him to stop calling me and then he called me a d*ckhead... rude inconsiderate pricks that call at dinner time. Called me on 2 seperate numbers one being ‭(07) 3282 3357‬ and one being 0490 617 726

They claimed they were Australian Injury Help Line. They claimed they were trying to help my parents receive fair compensation for their car accident.

I don't know how they got their details but I suspect it was the insurance company. I will be calling the insurance company to see if they know anything.

The scary part is they knew my parents' names. Car's registration, make and model. They knew when the incident happened.

But they were very, very desperate to get the police crash report. Whatever question I had for them they kept insisting how my parents have the money only if I send the crash report.

So be aware. I don't know how they operate. Maybe they claim to represent people and pocket the money themselves. Maybe it's some other fraud.

Initially I got a call from 0402 051 968 asking if someone had car accident. SCAM. After I told him you are calling me shouldn't you already have all my information? He then get someone else to call from (07) 3282 3357 and from other private number. SCAM, they just won't give up.

I just got a call from this number asking about my recent accident. The timing was brilliant as I just had an accident a week ago. He started asking for my rego and the date of the accident and I said id call him back. I then googled the number and all this stuff came up.

They're still doing it. The only way they could have my home number, which is silent, is if they got it from the insurer or the car repairer. Even the other person involved in the accident doesn't have it.

Yes, had an eastern sounding accent. Also mentioned they were calling on behalf of CTP Insurance. Drongo. We don't have CTP Insurance here!!!! That was the dead giveaway from me.

I just got the same call and he called me back on a different number too and harassed me. 0241756814

claiming to be wanting to provide compensation for a car accident. Two people passed between phones "managers" voice was a very obvious fake accent have called me from the number 04079810639 five mins previous to them trying on this number.

The caller asked about a car accident I didn't have. He was persistent and I ended up hanging up the call because it was not pleasant.

The caller then called back multiple times making inappropriate sexual comments.

This number has now been reported.

Have been phoned by 5 different numbers this is the most recent one. All claiming to be CTP and ringing about compensation. Even telling them your a COP does not make them stop asking. All callers are from Indian Sub Continent.

I received a call from the above person on 11/11/2017 12:15pm. It was unsolicited. Claiming to be CTP Insurance Queensland conducting an inquiry in relation to my wife having been involved in a motor vehicle accident recently. Other car deemed at fault and they were hoping to provide me with compensation. I politely requested an email address verifying their details, they became aggressive and said that i must provide them with my details. I politely told them to go away and hung up.
